Hawaii real estate is booming. Last month on Oahu, single-family homes averaged just 10 days on the market and the sales price was up a whopping 28% from a year ago.

The market’s frenzied pace has led to some interesting quirks, like more homes being purchased sight-unseen (in person, at least), and movers trucking water along with household items to their new desert abodes.
